Coordinated a wedding for 80 guests at the Sierra La Verne Country Club in La Verne, California. Managed a 2-day weekend trip with appointments that helped the couple choose from prospective ceremony and reception venues. Selected cost-effective solutions to maximize a small budget, including a discount wedding gown, a free novice photographer, wholesale flowers, iPod music for the reception, and email save-the-date cards and invitations. Consulted on the rehearsal and day-of wedding coordination.
Sierra La Verne Country Club provided the men's upscale locker room as a preparation area for the men. They also had a private room to play poker before the ceremony. Great place for these guys to relax before the events begin!
The natural beauty of the surroundings were the perfect backdrop for before and after pictures.
We used a wholesale florist and a friend to put together the bouquets and centerpieces at a deep discount. Everything came out beautifully!
The wedding colors were royal blue, yellow, and touches of green. The theme was Sunflower Summer, with the floral arrangements relying primarily on sunflowers.
The country club also provided a private bridal room for the girls to get ready in.
We provided yellow and royal blue M&M's, and yellow and blue Hersey Kisses at alternating tables as sweet treats for the guests. To save on the centerpieces, the floral arrangements were supplemented with white lanterns lit with candles for a beachy/summer feel.
Table numbers were replaced with personalized table names! Each table was named after a city or country that the coupled visited together.
We used the bridesmaid's bouquets to decorate the cake table, and further the savings in the floral budget.
The groom painted this piece to use as a modern twist on the traditional guest book. It now hangs in their new home, offering them best wishes for their future together!
I provided DJ and MC services at this wedding, in addition to my full wedding planning and coordination package. Everyone had a great time!
